The Kings discuss how the farm was acquired and enlarged over the years; the construction of the 16-room farm house and barn; draining wetlands with tiling; raising hogs; family members; plans for passing the farm down to their children; crop yields; the digging of a new well; Harold's experiences at a country school; various driving experiences; Marilyn's years teaching school; farm machinery; planting corn; and contour farming. The collection also includes a newspaper clipping from the July 29, 1976 issue of the Schaller Herald which describes the history of the century farm.
